The icon of the Mother of God "The Unburnt Bush" takes its name from the burning bush of Exodus — the bush that burned without being consumed, understood as a type of the Theotokos who bore the divine Fire without being destroyed. This mounted icon, surrounded by flames and angelic figures, is venerated for protection from fire and for the defense of homes and families. A quality icon from Damascene Gallery.
