The Mother of God "Iveron" is depicted in this mounted icon honoring the miraculous Portaitissa of Mount Athos — the Keeper of the Gate of the Iviron Monastery. Copies of this beloved icon are kept in countless Orthodox homes and churches, where she continues to intercede for the faithful as she has done for centuries on the Holy Mountain. A quality icon from Damascene Gallery.
