Christ the Savior - icon282 - 12 inch

Rooted in the ancient Byzantine iconographic tradition, this pre-20th-century icon of Christ the Savior presents the Lord as Pantocrator — the All-Ruler whose authority extends over all creation and yet whose mercy is available to all who turn to Him in humility and faith. This Damascene Gallery mounted icon in the Byzantine style is a beautiful expression of the universal kingship of Christ, ideal for a home iconostasis, a parish nave, or a chapel.
