Christ the Bridegroom - icon717 - 12 inch

'Christ the Bridegroom of the Church' is one of the most distinctive and moving icons associated with Holy Week — depicting our Lord bound and crowned with thorns, yet radiating a divine majesty that no suffering can diminish. Written by Hieromonk Andrei Erastov at Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, this icon carries the solemn beauty of the Russian tradition with exceptional care and prayerfulness. A Damascene Gallery mounted icon of Christ the Bridegroom brings the spirit of Great and Holy Week into your home throughout the year.
